Sometimes when we are stressed, our breathing becomes quick and you may even feel it in your chest. We call this “chest-breathing”. This can make you feel more stressed. But when you breath with your belly, the feelings of stress can go away and you will feel some calmness. We call this “belly breathing”.

A quick strategy to manage stress is to stop, take a break, and focus on belly breathing. The best part is it can be done almost anywhere and doesn’t take much time!
